Prosecutor takes medical trial for murder by injecting penicillin allergic patient
Dr. Nataly Arenas Paredes was charged with medical malpractice because the patient's family warned of the risks and protocols were not followed.
The July 25, 2008 when Silvestre Mateus Silva, 55, was waiting at the Clinica San Pedro Claver in Bogota to undergo surgery for the condition alleged in his right foot, died after he was applied Oxalicina injection.
According to the record, during the medical consultation the patient was evaluated by another physician to whom a daughter of Mr. Silva said he was allergic to penicillin. The score was not in the medical record but on a separate sheet.

With this record the prosecution accused Dr. Nataly Arenas Walls in court circuit 16 Bogota criminal for the crime of manslaughter.
Segovia unemployment rise to support talks with the government
